I have been leasing land that my manufactured home sits on since July 1998. I no longer reside on the property, but have maintained utilities and monthly lease payments. The landowner sold the property to a third party. The new landowner has given me 30 days notice to remove the home so that she can build a house on the property, quoting ARS 33-1370 (abandonedment) and an incorrect street address. Would 33-1476 and 33-2149 apply here? (180 days notice and Relocation Fund)?

We need to add my name to the birth certificate of our daughter. We have my wife's divorce paperwork stating by the judge that I am the natural father. But the Office of Vital Statistics stated that a court must also include an order to add my name to the birth certificate. How do I go about accomplishing this? Thank you.

My mother is a 100 percent disabled veteran in her 60s who tried to help a lady temporarily. For over two years this lady has lived off my mother rent free, scammed her into cosigning for a car, and has mentally and physically abused my mom. This lady's daughter is a lawyer in training aka going to school to be a lawyer and has my mom terrified to do anything to get rid of this woman. I do not know the legal steps to begin to fix my mom's life with her being held fiscally hostage as well as these other forms of abuse. Who might I seek for advice or advocacy for this?

My senior friend cannot pay her credit card debts (her son ran them up and then abandoned her). Her only income is Social Security and her home was inheirited (already paid off when it was inheirited). She cannot afford to file bankruptcy. She quit paying her debts over a year ago- sent them a letter stating that she cannot pay, fixed income etc. One of of the creditors recently sent a letter regarding arbitration. If she does not respond it means she agrees to their terms. I suggested to her that she respond by sending the original letter. Is there a better way to respond? Also, is her home safe from a judgement? I know her income is. I thought I read her home could not be taken. If true, would it require a lengthy court battle?
