when I divorced my ex wife in 2003, the decree did not state a clear awarding of my military pension since I was still active. I will be going to court to fight the amount I have to pay. She waited over 19 months to let me know she wanted the money. I agree to pay but only at the lower amount (E5) vice (E8). any info is greatly appreciated.

I have had a serious leak in my garage from rain for just over 2 years. The landlord keeps having me tale time out of my day to meet with roofers that patch things but do not fix. when its not fixed he will hire a different roofer because they all tell him all the tile needs to be pulled up and redone. it is still not fixed and we are having mold issues. I have buckets to collect water in the 2 spots it leaked every time it rains. I have taken several hours off work for this and still nothing is correct. What can I do as a renter to get this fixed?

I own a condo which is part of an HOA, they recently redid our plumbing (common property) and had the water off making our unit uninhabitable and my family had to live in a hotel room for a week. This was an expense that we cannot afford. Should the HOA be responsible for paying our hotel stay since the repairs on common property, plumbing, made our unit uninhabitable?

I get a news letter the first of the month stating maintenance day is 1/21/15. Is that legal notice. They come in twice that day. Once to change the a/c filter, check smoke alarm and look for drippy faucets. They come back to do monthly pest control. It is anywhere from 8 to 5. Lately they have even looked in the refrigerator during this inspection.
