I moved back to my paid off house after 2 years away from an extremely violent crack addict. He has now forced his way back into my home because he is a freeloader and wants to live withowut paying a single bill. When I tell him to leave he says FU, make me. He believes that he owns everything I have and takes my car 24/7 so I have no way out. When I attempt to do anything he destroys my things or steals them and pawns them. If I do anything at all to call for help he destroys my phone and beats me up and threatens to destroy my house. He is the biggest fake but noone believes me. HELP

My house was foreclosed on me without my knowledge. On January 4th a lawyers office put a package with my options to continue renting or to relocate. But I never received a letter or option to short sale, apply for HAMP, or notice of the sale. They obviously have my address, but no notice or options. Where can I find a way to get my house back? I found something online about the "right of redemption" and I'm completely upset and confused as to why I wasn't given any option or notification of sale. Please help. Any resources on "right of redemption" or a legal way to get them to stop?

I just found out I have a 2 year old daughter with an friend of mine. She as with another guy at he time, so she just let him believe he was the father through the pregnancy. So he's on the birth certificate, she has his last name. When I found out about her, the mother was all about finding out I'm the biological father and helping me get my parental right to her. Now the mother has changed her mind and is trying to keep me out of my daughters life. From everything he mother has told me about these past 2 years, the father always denied her being his to anyone they would meet. What can I do?

I have submitted notice on 7/28/17 that we would be non-renewing our lease and it would end, as stated in our lease, on 9/12/17. This provided excess of 30 days notice as required. They did not respond until today, 8/7/17. When we moved in, our rent for Sept '16 (9/13 - 9/30) was prorated. In our notice, I stated we would be paying the pro-rated amount of our rent due on 9/1 for the 12 days we will be occupying the apartment. The management let us know that our lease will end on 9/12, but we are responsible for the entire month of Sept. rent. I am unsure. I have communicated with them by e-mail because I wanted to document it.
