I have let my mother live in my residence that I owed with my Father, her ex-husband. He has since past. She is always late on the rent and does not take care of the yard, and smokes in the house. I don't have a lease agreement and I want her out of the house. I am cleaning up his estate and acquiring a loan to fix up the place. How can I legally do this to get her out of the house since I have no signed lease agreement. She is either late or short on the rent at least 3 times in the last year.

I was told I had to pay a "holding deposit" of $600 & sign a lease for a property that I needed to rent but was unable to do a walk thru in because the existing tenants were still occupying the property. I was told I could cancel at any time prior to my move in date 8/5/13; I cancelled on 7/20/13 & am being told I will not get any of my deposit back. What can I do?

I have owned my mobile home since I purchased it with cash in 1996 and have resided in the same mobile park where I rent the land since that time as well. The landlord has now changed the rules and no longer allows pets. I am wondering if this is legal considering I own my home and just rent the land. ord should have no say in the matter. I am wondering though if it is legal for the park to tell me what I can do in my own home as far as having a pet. Thank you.

Hi, I was wondering what my rights were and what my responsibility is. I purchased a truck in 2008 and traded in my truck I had to a dealer. the dealer was responsible for paying off the trade, they sent a check to my finance company and the finance company immediately issued a receipt pay in full and that the loan was satisfied. but the check had bounced from the dealer and the dealer went out of business. im not currently being contacted but it is showing up on my credit report.can I have this removed off my credit or can they make me try to pay this?

My boyfriend and I have been living together almost a year. We have had his 14 year old son at least every other weekend of the last 5 months and he moved in with us full time a month ago. While my boyfriend is taking the steps to obtain sole custody, what paperwork do we need or what steps do we need to take so I can be legally responsible for his son when he travels for work or is unreachable? We are not married or engaged, but I have the more flexible schedule and spend more time with the son (not that it really matters, I guess).

My landlord gave me a noise complaint and unauthorized tenant notice on April 11, 2018 . I asked landlord, who is the unauthorized occupant. She said your son. I assured her that , my son do not live here, buy he is my babysitter while I'm at work. Then on May 4, I went into pay rent , The landlord received my rent. I asked her how is the noise, she stated it have not gotten any better and you totally disregard the 10 day for having an unauthorized occupant. I told her I told you my son do not live here. The landlord said he is always here and I told her , yes, because I'm always at work.
