My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?

When I was 5 my mom married a man who was not my father, we moved to Wisconsin, and when my mom registered me for school, she just used her married name for me. I am now having problems because my birth cert doesn't match- trying to get a license here in AZ, I am married and the marriage license has my name on it, I have not used the last name on my birth cert since I was 5. I have been evicted from my apartment, and I have to be out on the 26th of this month ( March 26,2014). I don't have no place to take my stuff. My question is, by law does the landlord have to store my belongings for a certain number of days until I pick them up?

I moved into my apartment 20 days ago and on the day of move in 2/8/20 I had my walk through with the landlord. That day I raised many concerns but my main concern was the horrific smell of smoke in the back bedroom and bathroom. The smell is so horrible as if the tenant before just sat in closed in the room and smoked. The landlord stated on the day of move in that the apt just needed to be aired out. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, I am asthmatic and have had to use my inhaler and nebulizer EVERYDAY since moving in. Is my landlord responsible for removing the smoke smell from the apart?

I own a mobile home and rent the lot. Starting January the mobile home park owner wants to raise the rent by 70.00 dollars 9.69 % more than what we pay now. His reason is because he wants to install new fence around the whole mobile park and repair the roads because they are cracking and a pool. He saids we are in charge of paying for all repairs for everything that has to do with the property. Is this true? I know we do have to take care of the lawn maintenance and our homes but do we also have to take care of everything else? Please help thank you
