QUESTIONS

  • The original lease was not an AZ Law Lease Form. One yearlease ended November 20he original 14. It has been month to month I severred eviction notice May 15, 2016 On the original non AZ form it states tenant has 60 days to vacate. Is this true or can I proceed with 30 days. I don't known if I have to honor the original (wrong state lease or go by AZ law eviction process. Thank you.
  • I want a divorce, husband doesn't. He is the cause of the divorce. When I talk about it he gets mad, makes accusations and threats. He does not get physically violent, but he has told me things like I cannot leave (or takes my keys or phone so I can't), or I cannot take the kids from the house, or says he will take the kids. He is very possessive and becomes a bully when divorce is brought up. On multiple occasions he has driven off aggressively saying his life is over without me and the kids. I feel like the kids and I need somewhere else to stay while I file to avoid more detriment. Can I?

They tells that they could enter at anytime with out notice. Also they give the key to our apartment to other vendors without letting us know.   • My husband has Parkinson's Disease and has cognitive issues related to it. I am his durable POA, which went into effect last spring. In the summer, he contacted a company to install solar panels and signed a contract to lease the panels over the next 20 years for a total of $50,000. I never saw the actual contract that he signed. He said that he thought they were attaching the lease payments to our electric bill. The solar went into affect in September but we just received the first bill which is when I became aware of the lease. Is there any way that I can cancel the contract at this point?
  • My minor grandchild's parents are willing to sign paperwork for me to become the child's guardian. I want to make sure it is done right. Do I need an attorney or can I just have the parents sign forms obtained on the internet?
  • I found a car on craigslist and went to see the vehicle. The seller and I agreed on a price. I told him I would be receiving my refund check in one week and asked if I could hold the car with a $300.00 deposit. Unfortunately my refund check became offset and I will not be receiving any money. Now the seller does not want to pay me back the deposit. Is that legal?
  • I have lived in the current house for 3 1/2 years. First 2 years we signed a lease. When it came time to sign a 3rd one the landlord said after 2 she doesn't require any more and we would just go month to month. We're have never been late. 6 months ago she raised our rent $125 to $1350. Now today she sent a text saying rental rates have gone up and starting next month she is raising it by $600 up to $1950. Nothing is that high in the area. I am a long haul truck driver. Only home 3 days a month. Don't know how I am going to be able to find a place, pack, and move in 3 days. Is this legal?
  • My former employer is verbally abusive on a daily basis and creates an extremely hostile workplace. After tolerating this for 6 months, I finally gave him my 2 week notice. He proceeded to say 'No, I'll end this right here' asked me for my key and walked me out. I then filed for unemployment, which has since been denied. I'm sure he said I quit, which is not the case. This person also made advances to my 16 ear old daughter when she was at work with me over the summer. Do I have a claim? I'm having a hard time getting a response from local attorney's.
