How do I get the landlord to refund the balance of rent money paid to satisfy the remainder of the term of my lease, that the landlord then entered into another lease with new tenants? The security deposit was refunded in full but they tried to be deceptive about entering into a new lease during the remainder of my lease. And now try to say I am required to pay the utilities for the property for the 2 months after I vacated and turned over possession of the keys

I have a court date of 4/4/16 to address a Class 2 Misdemeanor at Gilbert Municipal Court. This is in reference to a Landlord (me) Tenant dispute. My landlord sent me a lease renewal notice that indicated the rent would go up. We had a verbal agreement last summer when I renewed that my rent would stay the same. When I told my landlord that I planned to renew but asked if my rent would stay the same, she sent me a non renewal notice for my lease. Does this qualify as retaliation?

Can i deny court ordered visitation if my childs safety is a concern? ie. my children were victims of child abuse and they just informed me that the abuser has been living with their mother within the last few months and she has allowed this with my children there during her scheduled visitation. my younger child does not feel good about this arrangement and stated he was not comfortable being around this person and that the visitaions have been different. i feel that this is not in their best interest so therefore i did not allow the visitation.

My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. Thank You
