I have been paying $20 a month since May 2006 on a credit card debt. I was taken to court and agrred to pay this much until my debt was paid. I believe I had around $1665 to pay. I have made every payment but in Dec of 2010 the collection agency stopped cashing my checks. I have called several times and was told my account is closed. They will not tell me how much I owe or where I should send a payment to. After calling several times they hang up on me or put me on hold forever. What should I do? I've been paying for 5 years.

Can a landlord evict because they not animal control or law enforcement deemed your dogs aggressive? There have been no noise or aggressive/ vicious dog complaints filed with animal control but now suddenly we were told get rid of the dogs or be evicted. And the property manager has lied about complaints from the other tenants and about one of my dogs getting out and chasing her boy friend on a day I was home all day with my dogs so I know for a fact none of them got out of my yard and she never mentioned it to my husband who works for her or me. Along with other lies

I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?

I understand that the age of adulthood is 18 in Arizona. While it may seem like a silly question, I wanted to make absolutely sure that this applies to my high school's ability to require parental consent or signatures, or notify my parents without my permission. They seem to be under the impression it does not. If this does apply to the school, I assume a simple state issued I.D. would suffice to prove my age?
