My grandmother has late stage dementia, we recently moved her and provided a Doctors note to relieve her of her lease. I am POA. The apartment complex just sent a letter stating that there is urine on carpet ( my grandmothers) and they have to replace it and treat concrete. My Grandmother is on state assistance and has $110 left over after her assisted living expenses. They said they are giving me 30 days to pay in full or she is going to collections. From what I understand, she is considered judgement clear due to limited income. Can they come after me and send me to collections for this

The house is under contract "as is", delay in closing (1 month, then 3 more months due to divorce not yet finalized). Owner-to-be is paying rent month to month. Without permission or notice has rectified plumbing, tree, electric situations and now wants seller-to-be to pay expenses. Since it is under contract "as is", does seller-to-be have to pay anything?

My son's father and I were never married and we broke up before he turned 1. I have sole custody and he has visitation time which his parents use as he has zero interest in being a part of my son's life. My son is now 12. I have been married for over 6 years and my husband and son both want for him to adopt him. My son views my husband as his (only) dad. My ex is an alcoholic who recently picked up his 3rd DV charge against his current gf. If my ex is willing to terminate his parental rights so my husband can adopt my son, how do we cancel out our current agreement and terminate his rights?

I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?

I currently have joint custody of my children in which I have them 50% of the time. My ex-wife and I do not agree on which schools our children should attend, and our paperwork states that neither of us can make the final decision. An attorney had told me that if we have tried mediation with conciliation services (which we have tried), then the next step would be to file a motion for school determination. My question is: how do you go about doing that? I do not see forms that seem to pertain to this. Thanks!
