  • My children's father and I have joint legal custody and joint physical custody. He just provided 60-day notice that he is moving more than 100 miles away. I read that I need to request a hearing to prevent this. How do I do that?

On Nov 16, renter said the house was full of old cigarette smoke and couldn't live there so she gave 30 day notice. She did not pay for Dec and I have damage deposit. Can I rent the room starting Dec 1 without repercussions from the renter.

  • We have been renting a condo for 5.5 years and now are moving out. We have heard that no one gets their deposits back. Our biggest concern is the carpet, since it's degraded since we've been here. Is "normal wear and tear" at all a consideration? Is there an algorithm or guide on what they should do. We have an $1100 deposit and can't afford to lose it.

It took a little over a week before they had someone come START repairs. During the wait the rain continued. My roof was repaired However, the water damage in the inner ceiling has not. My ceiling is caving in and the mold in my bathroom is visible . The manager is NEVER in the office and I don’t know how to get them to repair it. My rent and utilities continue to be paid in full each month some help please
