Can my employer use my AZ Sick Time PLUS deduct the same time from my personally accrued PTO? For example, I've been out sick and exhausted the 40 hours of AZ Sick Time. At the same time, my Employer is also using 40 hours of my personal PTO for a total of 16 hours per day sick time instead of the 8 hours I'm out of the office sick. Is this Legal???

After being kicked out, how much time do I have to go back and get my belongings before the landlord can take legal possession of them?

I have a collection on my credit report which belongs to my husband. When contacting the collection agency, they told me that this collection will stay on my report because I am married to the person which ows them money. The account was included in our bankruptcy in 2013 as an individual debt and not a joint debt. Am I responsible for my husbands debt? It was for electrical service my husband applied for himself. I was married to an active military person from 6/1974- 8/1987. The divorce was done solely by my ex husband.I simple received the divorce decree in the mail. I was not aware that been married to an active military for 10 years entitles me to a portion of his retirement. My brother just advised me a week ago that I should have and was entitled to this; so this is the first time that I'm trying to get information on the matter. I was never told or known about this.

If the mother, whoese case is in AZ moves to TX without the child, and didn't notify the non custodial parent or AZ until father filed a motion of modification (6 months later). Can the father file and Order the Stop Payment and close case, because child is with someone els??

My sister in law recently asked my husband (her brother) to adopt her baby, the baby is due in January. She is willing to sign over parental right. She has not been able to get in contact with the father of the baby since she informed him of the pregnancy. He told her he does not want anything to do with the baby. Do we have to his written consent to proceed with the adoption? Is there a legal way to contact him to get the form signed?

My phone/internet provideris constantly charging me late fees. Im on a fixed income that I receive the 2nd Wed of every month and that is the day I write them a check. I try to explain this to them but they continue to charge me late fees. What is AZ law regarding these late fees? I'm 83 and a Korean war vet...I can't afford to continue to pay these fees

My landord put me out for a whole week for repairs on my patio. They did provide me housing. I was only prepare to be out for a day or two. Thats what they told me. It turned into a week. I spend alot of money and short on my rent. They don't want to compensate me for the trouble. What can i do?
