If I am convicted with a DUI, someone told me I could get my records sealed after 2 years if I hire an attorney. If someone does a background check how long will this conviction remain on my record and if I am able to get it sealed could comone still find this conviction? Thanks for your help

I am single parent (mother) with an adopted child which is now 4 and have sole custody. I was in a relationship (non biological father) for 3 years. Now we are longer together and the "father: wants to seek legal joint custody. Can he legally obtain custody in Arizona?

I have a 6 month old son ahd i want his last name changed to his real father but I hand my ex-boyfriend that lived with me, he wanted to be his dad so my son has his last name we thought it would work, but it didn't. Now the real father wants to give him his last name, how do I get my son's last name changed to his father's?

One of my friends is 17 (18 in less than a month) and is graduating. She used to live with her mother in Georgia, and was promised a better life, but when she came out here, her father forced her to watch her little sister and brother. Her brother is autistic, and she can't keep watching him. Is there any way she can get out of this legally? Her schooling and her career are both suffering.

We are told a new law became effective in Jan. which requires changes to the Trust having to do with notifying beneficiaries every year of the amount of the estate and their inheritance. Is it true? The lawyer wants the full price of the trust to amend it. Can I find the law on the Internet? Is it boilerplate and easily done without using that same lawyer? Please direct me. Thank you.

I have been divorced 3 years our my ex husband was supposed to give me half of our retirement money but right before signing he said he lost it in our divorce decree it says that he was supposed to pay the full amount within a year but has failed to do so, additionally we agreed that he would keep managing our children investment account and was supposed to provide me with quarterly statements but I found out he spent the money lastly he is behind a few months in alimony, would you recommend I hire a lawyer or could I file directly through the court

I WAS MARRIED IN AZ IN 2006 AND BECAME LEGALLY SEPARATED IN 2011. OUR FINANCES ARE SEPARATE AND WE ARE NOT ON EACH OTHERS CREDIT CARDS, CHECKING ACCOUNTS OR ANY OTHER LEGAL DOCUMENTS. IF HE PASSES AWAY AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR HALF THE DEBT HE INCURRED DURING THE FIRST 5 YEARS OF OUR MARRIAGE EVEN THOUGH HIS DEBT HAS NEVER BEEN IN MY NAME?

We are currently living in a mobile home and are being invaded by rats. Two months of the last five months we cannot use our heat or AC unit due to rat feces and them trying to nest in the vents. We have a dead rat smell in the home and my daughter is currently sleeping on the couch because of the smell. We have given a 10 day and it is past that time frame. We do not have a deposit to move. What can we do?
