I am living in my boyfriend's mothers condo and was supposed to be the only one living here but I let a friend of ours move in on the grounds he would pay 100 a week and pay for cable internet and phone. He's been here about a month and up until this last Friday had been paying rent on time. Last night we got into an altercation and he got physical with me so I am getting a restraining order against him. If we don't have any written agreement and I get this order against him how long does he have to move out?

Can my landlord/parents refuse to give a rental history? We rented from them for 9 years and the house was in a trust until they sold it without telling us. In court (over amount they owed for repairs) he admitted we never missed a payment or paid late but they refuse to sign anything or put anything in writing because they admitted they had not been paying taxes on the rental income we were paying! What can we do to get a rental history so we can buy a house or move into another rental? It's the only thing holding us back,

I allowed an ex to move back in while she "got on her feet." She has never paid rent or utilities and we have no written agreement altho it was understood at the time to be a short-term favor. It is now over 2 years and she says she doesn't want to move out until she can afford her own place. When we met 3 years ago she was renting a room in a house which is what I am suggesting she do again now - what are my legal options in terms of requiring her to move out?
