  • I move into apt Oct 7, The move in date was set by them month in advance, I been waiting for a apt. They gave me a costsheet with the correct move in date, it had the monthly rent would be, what I am responsible for, deposits, fees, and summary of movein total. It also stated what paid by tenant and proof need for move in such as electric acct number. We both signed it and it required two cashier checks and listed the amount. Nothing changed. once move in they audit and found out they calculated the prorated days wrong. Now they want more money. I budgeted using their form

I was supposed to move into an apartment May 2020 but due yo COVID-19 I'm cancelling my scheduled move in for safety purposes and other obvious reasons. I already paid application and admin fees while applying for the apartment. The apartment is saying I won't be able to get my administration fee back because I'm cancelling. Is this possible and what can I do? Thanks
