I am disabled and receiving food stamps (SNAP). I submitted a medical expense list with receipts. DES stated that they do not count dental or vision expenses (eye exams, eyeglasses, contact lenses, dental exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals) or prescription medications which are not paid for every month. They did not address the cost of medical transportation (gas to get to medical appointments). I believe that these expenses should be counted as they are out of pocket medical expenses, and the total should be divided by the number of months in the eligibility period. Help!

I had a default divorce awhile back while I was away on active duty. My now ex told the judge that I made $100k/yr on active duty when my income was far less than half that amount of course. Modifying her and the court's secret divorce now is easy enough, but I'm in arrears for money I couldn't pay from the divorce up until my first modification. How do I get bank statements, tax returns, paystubs and whatever else they need and should have had in the first place to a judge in order to negate a year's worth of $3,500/mo alimony that AZ DES is still trying to enforce? -Making me a homeless vet

My girlfriend and I allowed her brother (a 300lb man) to crash with us after he got evicted. After about 2 1/2 weeks we realized this was a terrible idea and told him he needed to leave. He packed most of his things and left but took some things that didn't belong to him. Upon him returning for the last if his stuff, we told him he was not allowed to enter the premises and we would bring him his stuff. He got mad and tried to force his way into the house and my girlfriend fought him off. She got arrested for"hitting" him. Isn't this still a form of self defense considering he doesn't live here

My ex wife and I have been divorced for 18 months and it involved two kids. Our divorce decree and final agreement is filed in Rogers County Oklahoma. I now live in Arizona and have since the separation in May of 05. This summer my son came to visit and he has been asking his mom if he could live here and she gave me written and verbal permission that he could and now he has been here for 3 months with the agreement that we would modify the final agreement and child support. He is enrolled in school and school activities and after school activities and is doing very well. She is now wanting him to come back to Oklahoma and I want to file documents to keep her from doing this........can I do it here in Arizona or does he have to be here for a certain amount of time? Where can I go to get more info on the net?
