I am a single mother of 6 children. 4 of them belong to my first husband and the baby belongs to my last husband but the next to youngest does not have any contact with her father. He does not want to have anything to do with her. I have joint legel custody of all of the other children and would like to know what my mother can do to retain that custody or have legal visitation for herself should something happen to me, and become the legal guardian of my next to youngest child since she will have no one else to turn to?

The landlord was contacted regarding a mouse problem a few weeks ago. Prior to this, there had been no problems with the landlord. The landlord let an exterminator in to the apartment when no one was home with permission. After this, the landlord stated that the apartment was a health hazard because of clutter & cat small & it had to be fixed. Landlord contacted Housing assistance & complained. They said it had to be corrected. The apartment was cleaned, the majority of belongings were thrown away, & everything was tidy, still not good. 8 tenants when moved in, now 2. What recourse?

we were approved for a car loan by a local bank. Explained that the vehicle was in our home state and that we knew the owner. Personal banker explained this on the phone. And then the bank changed its mind and said to buy a vehicle in Az. Needless to say as seniors with good credit we were very upset. Filed a complaint withCFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau). Told we could hire an attorney but am finding difficulty. Don't know what kind of attorney or if we have a case.

My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!
