  • my brother passed away in az,there was a caregiver whose has kept his car and all his personal property. He was a Veteran and died in a hospice va i believe she was telling him he had to pay to live there so i believe shes was using his money for her own benefit. shes placed her name on the title of his vehicle which he claimed before he passed it would be paid in full and now shes keeping all his things.. our parents are both deceased and there are three remaining siblings.. we want his things and his bank account inwhich she is on because she was supposedly taking care of his bills>>
  • I worked here for a short time,they paid my rent. was let go mid month, end of month received eviction letter stating I owed half month plus up coming month. this after I contacted their boss. Paper received cert.mail , is not signed nor does it have dates or amounts on it. Is this all legal? or is this a case of Retaliation?   • Hi I recently moved into a rental home and things are continuously going wrong. We went without A/C for 4 days before it was fixed, the electrical sockets in the bathroom go on and off continuously on their own for days at a time and we have a toilet that leaks. At what point can we terminate a lease and still get our security deposit back? The landlord expects these things to be fixed by us first then her then a professional. I know nothing about electrical things so now its her turn to look before a professional each time takes days-weeks to fix.
  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note? Can you recommend a method for me to find this specific information. Thanks
  • My landlord was intoxicated and assaulted me yesterday. I called the police and they came over, the cops asked if I wanted to press charges I said no, which I now regret. The officer asked if things would be ok if I left for the night and returned tomorrow. I stated yes and went to a motel for the night. When I returned home this afternoon he shows up with the police and a restraining order. I just paid him a months rent on July 1st, which he won't give back part off. Can I now press charges a day or two after and can I sue him for the rent I was screwed out of? He assaulted me... Help!!
