By law at what age can a minor be left alone

My father in law had a stroke in April of 2013 and has been unable to pay his credit card debts including a home equity line of credit through State Farm. He owns a home here here in Phx but has since been relocated to be with other family members in Napa, Ca. in a group home. He receives his usual SS benefits and a small pension of $120 per month, he is also getting his aid and attendance from the V.A. The problem is this, all of his benefits go to his care and he is unable to pay his credit card debts. Since he is no longer living here we are paying his house payment along with the State Farm home equity line of credit since that is like a second mortgage I believe. My question is how do we keep the house in the family and eliminate his credit card debt? which is probably around $20,000. The house doesn't have any equity in it or if it does, it's not much. I was wondering if my ex was allowed to ask me to pay child support from the day our child was born even though we were together until he was 4? Because my credit is reporting that I have not been paying my child support and it automatically comes out of my paycheck every time. I called the courts and they are saying it is because of back child support even though I have never missed a payment, now they are taking my taxes, so the money I am supposed to get back for my son with my current wife is going to pay my "back child support" What can I do??

i have a friend who had a baby with a girl who he was dating and she left the baby with him, saying he can keep her that she wants to walk away from everything. What does he need to do to keep his daughter. And if she was to call the cops on him would he need to return the baby to his ex?

Myself and my 5 sons were on AHCCCS but I canceled when I got married. Well now my husband and I are separated and I'm on SSI no other income. Can I re qualify for myself and my 5 sons or at least my 5 sons even if I'm still legally married?

I have a son that is almost 2. His father and I have been together for 4 years. Because of work we moved to CA 10 months ago. There is domestic violence in the relationship. I need to get my son away from his father into a safer environment. I am planning to move back to AZ. Does anyone know if I am able to file for full custody in AZ. My son was born in Gilbert and lived in Chandler from birth until we moved. (1 year) I am trying to figure out the best way to get back to AZ and obtain full custody while not endangering my son or myself from his fathers anger. Any advice is appreciated.

Started a year lease (8/2019) In my current apartment. The first 4 months we’ve been having constant plumbing issues where the shower has over flowed with sewage back 3-4 times a single month. In the result of damaging/ruining personal items. All of the rugs destroyed by sewage flooding out of bathroom into hallway and entering bedroom. I’ve lost shoes, clothes, electronics, furniture etc.. with that being said, their has been constant headaches and migraines due to the horrid smell. I need a better understanding of the responsibilities for a landlord, in the state of Arizona. Rent Deduction?

Hello, my parents marriage is negatively evolving..it is evolving drastically. A couple of days ago my stepdad pulled a gun on my mom in front of my younger brother. My younger brother explained this event to me and older sister. He also stated that he had to intervene between my parents. I am very worried for my mother, but I do not know where to start helping legally and fast.

My daughter, received garnishment papers from her employer from an apartment she defaulted on. She was never notified of any garnishment by the collection agency; she was never served or summoned to court regarding the debt. Do they have to notify her before obtaining a garnishment?
