QUESTIONS

  • I am living at an apartment in Tucson, AZ. The a/c went out over two weeks ago and since then it has been 93+ degree's in my apartment. I have tried calling management but there is nothing they can do for another week. I have asked if substitute housing is available and they have denied. Is there anything I can do?
  • I gave my ex verbal notice of my relocation with my 4 year old, 2 mos prior to the relocation. He was receptive and understood my reasoning. I sent a letter cert. mail and it was returned to me because he failed to pick it up. So I then hired a process server, which was successful. Its now 4 days before my moving date and he has served me w/ a summons to establish parenting time and custody. My position at work has already been filled and I'm to be out of my apartment by the 5th. Am i obligated to stay in the state now? Or can i temporarily relocate?

  • I have lived with my fiance' who just passed away, for many years and handled all of Debra's medical and financial matters since she had cognitive deficiencies fro her heart issues. I need a copy of her death certificate and all my attempts have been denied by her dad, who only wanted Deb to leave me so her dad could put her in a long term care facility. I need the certificate for our bank and many of Debra's doctors, which include creditors. I need an attorney that can request this document for me. Bill
  • Oue lease is up in a couple of days, and the landlords and his family have been there for the past two updating the lawn. We were not notified that they were coming prior to their arrival. This has been an ongoing problem with them. They felt that as soon as they put the house on the market they can come whenever they choose. We have requested in writing that they give us notice , but in last two days they have not honored that . What are my rights?
