QUESTIONS

  • My wife and I were sued for unsecured debt. We have two minor children that both have a bank account with my wife on each. The creditor seized thier accounts. My daughter has a babysitting job she does, and my son's account was set up to recieve his student financial aid. Luckily, he had already purchased books and payed for his summer classes. I have heard that Federal student aid was exempt from this. What can we do to stop this and can we get our sons school money back?

They have tried talking to the neighbors but they said that they had a verbal agreements with the neighbor before them to borrow that extra piece of land so they are not going to give it up, since then my parents have paid 2 more times to get it surveyed & they keep moving the flags. Can they sue them for the tax and use of the property as well as the extra surveys for all the 13 years they have paid?

  • The rental agreement is month to month with a 30 day notice for either party. The renter paid rent Nov 1. On Nov 16, renter said the house was full of old cigarette smoke and couldn't live there so she gave 30 day notice. On Nov 23, she was gone along with all of her possessions leaving the room completely empty but she had paid up until November 30 and did not return the keys. She did not pay for Dec and I have damage deposit. Can I rent the room starting Dec 1 without repercussions from the renter.
