  • My roommate and I have been experience rodents for the past month. Together we removed two rats from our air vents and only the on-site maintenance was resolving the issue for 10 business days before the pest control came. They were to be inspecting once a week and after three weeks we would move to step two. They have not been coming to inspect and now we have rat mites. Our management is not bringing them in to irradiate this issue or clean our air vents. Can we break our lease?
  • My husband and I have been married for 19 years. Common Law for 4 years and 14 years Legally Married (State of NM). We have been separated for 3 months, if I decided to divorce my husband my reason is "Adultery". We have a State Marriage Licence and we married in Navajo Nation Court. I own my mobile home, in ch33 it says that a guest cannot be charged for until they stay more than 14 consecutive days in a given moth and then charged $1 per day. The landlord gave me an eviction notice and my friends have only stayed 10 daus. Also, am i obligated to tell the landlord the name of every person who stays the night? She is saying they have the right to know and approve of all guests that stay 3 nights. Ch33 does not support that.
  • I live in an eight unit cluster of small houses and duplexes. The property has been inundated by tenants with dogs. The problem is the increased noise level from almost constant barking. The property managers are making money off the presence of the dogs and flat-out don't care. I'm being harassed by my neighbor. She makes her dog bark at all hours of the day and night. Any recourse?
