  • I have a lease to purchase contract with a couple. The man has recently passed away. The estate of this man is trying to have the contract "disallowed". I'm trying to find out how to file a "petition for allowance" in Pima county. I live in Indiana.
  • My boyfriend was arrested last night for aggravated assault against me. I told the police that he has a history of mental illness and that he needed to go to a psychiatric hospital but they took him to jail anyway. I am not pressing charges but I am afraid the state will. How do I help him get the charge dropped and get mental help?
  • Home I was renting was forclosed on and Purchased on short sale. When my lease was up my landlord gave me a 45 day notice to move. Now they want me to pay 4300 for redoing the house.   • Can my 1/2 of the deposit be withheld if I comply to my notice to vacate and leave before lease is up and my roommate stays aka “squats”. He has decided to stay and never gave his notice to vacate , because due to the pandemic, his next rental is unavailable for another 30/60 days. The landlord states he has to leave and my rooomate is fighting it. The landlord threatened my deposit as well even tho I’m vacating the property when I’m supposed to . Can they keep my 1/2 of them deposit bc of my roommates actions?

  • I put up a vinyl fence per the building code of the park, and then my neighbor added a wood gate to his property against the building code and the manager approved this. Is this discrimination? What can I do about this?
  • Can a landlord dictate where a child sleeps? Saying a child over 2 “needs” their own bedroom. Not only is this nickel and diming parents to pay the extra rent for more rooms it feels extremely discriminating and invasive of parental rights. Telling me where my child can and can’t sleep, basically not allowing bedsharing or trying to get families with kids to move elsewhere cause they can’t afford adding another bedroom to their budget.
