QUESTIONS

  • What are the guidlines which determine the amount the obligor pays per child
  • I am paying child support for 3 children over 18. I was told by AZDES that it doesn't matter. I have to pay forever. I find that hard to believe. They are all in their 20s with children and married. I have only 1 at home who will 18 in 6 months. I've requested a modification and that's when I was told it doesn't matter, I will pay my ex forever.
  • We have tenants that are not late on their rent(due April 1st). A swat team broke down the courtyard door and arrested both of the tenants 5 days ago for larceny. The charge has something to do with guns. The tenants are being extradited to CO in 8 days. Their 27 year old son is living in the house and is asking all the neighbors to lend him money to get his parents out. Our neighbors do not feel safe and are traumatized by what has happened. The tenants are on a "most wanted" list in CO. Can I evict them immediately because of criminal activity?
  • My ex-girlfriend and I obviously separated and have not done any legal custody paperwork with our (she is the mother) two children (ages 3 and 1). The boys constantly stay at the house that I own and never go to their mothers. She only sees them at my house for the 40 hours that I work per week and that is it. Their addresses (including the mother's mail) all come to the house that I own. She has now grown upset and wants to take the children to some long distant relative in Colorado just because she is angry. I do have the 3 year old enrolled in a local Prescott Valley school as well.
  • Is it Arizona law that neither parent with respect to a divorce, can not move more than 100 miles from the other if joint custody.....even if one parent is the primary parent?
  • How long do I have after the police ask me to form a statement do I have to find a lawyer?
  • I was unable to complete a walk through at the time my lease ended, due to my partner being hospitalized and my work schedule. We were never provided with a list of damages or costs until being contacted by collections. I did provide my forwarding address and phone number but no contact was made. I saw they are supposed to provide the documentation within 14 days. I do not believe we had a security deposit, but if we never were provided documentation in a timely manner, are we able to contest collection fees and accrued interest?
  • wutsteps shuld I take to gain custody of my nephew, 12 yrs old, who now is living with my sister, not his parent
  • I used to work for the park I live in,they paid my rent. I was let go mid month, i contacted the managers boss,On November 2nd. the manager mailed out a 7-day eviction notice to me for non-payment of rent. I am awaiting disability to come in,i can only work 20hrs. max a week. I was not given any time to set-up a payment plan as others here have been able to do. The manager locks the door when she see's me coming to her office. I own the trailer but rent the spot. The eviction notice was not signed by anyone. Is this a Legal notice?
