QUESTIONS

  • There's a piping issues that has me in the model apartment instead of mine while they fix it. However, they won't let me bring my dog. She has to be locked up the whole time while they work on the piping in the apartment. What can I do?
  • I need to know how to get a copy of my visitation because I have a copy of my decree but it has no dates or times on it when it comes to visitation . Christmas is coming up and my babies mom is trying to cut my time short and I want to have the correct paperwork to make sure everything goes smoothly
  • While I was with my Mom at her boyfriend's house in CA, my friend and I walked in on them watching porn in the living room. They didn't hear us come in so she doesn't know that I know. I told my Dad and he is trying to decide how to handle this. I want to know (and so does my Dad) if this is reason enough for my Dad to get sole custody. Now they both have joint physical custody. Has a crime been commited and how will the courts view this event? Thank you.
  • I just read that in 2017 the laws changed for military divorce. It now states the pension division in divorce is based on the service member’s rank and time in service at the date of the divorce. As I have always believed it should. So, my question is, can I go back to court and have my pension recalculated with the new formula? Thanks, Dan
  • I am currently working with HUD Counselor for two years. Is there a time frame for working these modifications? Also in bankruptcy; does this effect the loan modification process?
  • My mother recently passed, leaving an estate of around 100 K, plus her house. Would a probate filing be required for an estate of this size? I am named as executor, and am one of 3 children. Can I handle the paperwork without an attorney?
  • Do I get paid during my FMLA leave?
  • My father was in a group home in Casa Grande and then died. It's been over 60 days and they have yet to refund his $500 security deposit. We live in Michigan and wonder if we can file a small claim but not have to be present.
  • Our lease states that a clothes washer and dryer are "furnished appliances." Knowing that they would be here is part of what made us decide to move here. We discussed it with our landlord before we moved in, and he said he would have take care of it. After two months, we still don't have a washer and dryer. When I brought it up to the landlord last week, he said he didn't remember the conversation, but if I wanted, he would buy a washer and dryer, and he would let us pay it off with our rent. I looked at the lease again, just to make sure I remembered correctly, and don't understand this.
  • Hi! I am one of the very lucky people to be granted a new trial. There was an error at trial and the judge ordered a new trial. My question is what happens at a retrial? Is it the same testimony from the first trial or can the victims change their story? For example, the victim admitted hitting me first during the first trial. Can he change that or does testimony have to be the same? I need to know this to help make a decision regarding accepting a plea offer. My attorney is unsure.
