I presently residing in a over 55 complex for the past three yrs. Never had to pay for rental insurance. Now, with the new lease coming, they are asking for payment on an insurance. My question is: Is this insurance a LAW? Do I have to pay a yearly insurance or montly? If there is no law, I do not/cannot afford to pay. As well as other seniors in the complex. We only live on a SS checks. Many do not have enough to their personal needs. I cannot pay for a lawyer either. I just need to know the LAW on the subject so that I know what to do. My daughter is 2 months old. Her mother and I are not married. In the hospital filled out a form for paternity that We were told would get submitted so we could request a birth certificate for our daughter. We filed for the birth certificate and I'm listed as the father. Is that considered a legal document confirming I am the legal father? I live in a beautiful Mobile home park in a travel trailer. Everyone who is in a travel trailer or Rv is asked to pay 4 summer months up front in order to stay in the park. It is not written on the lease. Is this a legal practice?

My mother passed away, she had health problems including altered mine status and my brother sold my mothers cows and kept the money. The family had a meeting soon after the sale and asked him to put the money in an account to help with her medical and care expenses. Again after her death, he was asked to put the money into the account so it can be probated properly to all her heirs and he has not do so. Is this a case of elderly abuse by my bother and it is her money should it be probated to heirs.
