  • I live in a Mobile Home Park. I got a sink hole behind my house after a really bad storm. The water pools between the houses and when it drained, you can see the trail of debri that flowed to the back of my house where much of the water washed out the soil and left a big sink hole around my cement slab that my AC sits on. I only rent the lot. Does the park need to fix this problem or am I suppose to fix a new sink hole every time we get a big rain storm?
  • My ex broke up with me and kick me out the place we shared with our child. I had to move back to my home city which is in a different city then my child, and since our child is still in school I didn't want to move our child out of the school s/he went to. So had to leave my child with the dad. My child has stated that s/he wants to come live with me. So how do I get custody of my child.

  • Our duaughter will not let us see our 2 yr old granddaughter. This may sound petty, and it is. It stems from a year ago, when we told her and her husband that they had to move out of our house. They had been living with us For over a year, with no plans to move forward any time soon. They were taking advantage, and their pets and they were destroying our house. They had a new baby, and we took care of her while they worked, and we worked also.. The time came that we had to tell them to go, after our daughter became verbally abusive to me one day. Are their rights for us at all?

  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
  • We rented a spot in someones yard for my trailer and got kicked out after only 2 weeks and not allowed to go get my trailer or any of my stuff. I found out that they have stolen 2 other trailers the same way... What should we do we have nothing and no where to live now..
  • I got fired at a private school for sending the parents an e-mail that was riddled with grammar errors. To be honest, I did write it in a hurry and I didn't proofread it. There is nothing offensive. I did nothing offensive during my time at the school. But that e-mail did spark fury with the parents who thought I'm not good enough to teach their children despite my credentials. I feel the principal didn't support me and fired me on the spot. My friends suggested that I should seek a lawyer to sue the school, but I have my doubts. Should I seek a lawyer for this?
  • Clicked to renew my lease and got an email accepting that request. Went to log on to the website to sign the new lease and it was not available. Informed the apartment management and received an email saying they would write it up and send it, however I still have not received anything. Can they for some reason not renew my lease after the initial acceptance? My current lease is up at the end of June, if I did not want to renew I would have had to give 60 days written notice. Can they give me less than I am required to give them if they do not renew for some reason?
