  • I own a mobile home but rent the land it sits on (in a park). Monthly, the landlord sends a bill that includes a base rent, charges for electricity, water use, and sewer. It also includes a "rent tax." I'm unsure what this rent tax is and whethere he should be paying it or I should. There is also a "service charge" of $10 on the monthly electric portion, which I think is a reading fee (a man who lives here reads the meters). Are these last two charges legitimate?

If the 2nd Mortgagee never filed or sued me on the deficiency can the collection agency pursue the collection of this debt?   • Our landlord has not fixed out hot water or stove. It has been over a month and she has not fixed the items. I have text telling her they they were not working and she never sent anyone to fix it. She told me I have 30 days to move because there are too many problems.   • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.

I was hospitalized late June. Could not find what caused illness. Thought it was a stroke. I was in a SNF. Got better.
