I am renting to own my manufactured home from my landlord who is in turn paying off loan company. The contract she wrote and we both signed but was never notarized or witnessed states that I will rent the home" as is" meaning she is not responsible for any damages. The septic tank is broken and flooding badly enough that one side of the house has sunken into the ground. The clogging from the septic has caused leaks and clogs in water pipes causing mold in walls and insulation under house ruined. A lic. Plumber informed me that the septic tank got broken when she installed it previous to my renting. It is also illegally placed too close to house. Also, my mother paid my rent in February and when I asked my landlord if she received this money she stated no. I called my mother to confirm she did go there then I called landlord back and told her I knew she was lying about it and she admitted that she had in fact lied about how much rent I actually owe her. What can I do about all of this?

I was convicted State Jail Felony in Texas (POCS) in 1999 and was sentenced to 9months in a State Jail Facility in Dayton, TX. I have since lived a model lifestyle, drug free and employed. We moved to AZ in 2006. My father in law passed away last month, so my husband wants to bring his handgun home. Is this legal in AZ or do I need to go in front of a judge?

I am finalizing my divorce decree, and my previous lawyer added his fees to my decree with a date when payments needs to start. I am completely broke, lost my job and all my money. I won’t be able to pay his payments set up on the decree. Can file bankruptcy and get ridge of this debt?

I own a property, not my main residence, that was part of a 2010 C7 bankruptcy. We reaffirmed and kept the property. We have made all of the payments since, but in the past year our finances have declined. We have tried to rent the property without much success and we have paid over $6000 above the properties income to maintain it. It is empty again and we simply cannot continue to pay the mortgage and HOA any more. It is worth about what I owe. Can I allow the property to go to foreclosure or short sale after being part of a bankruptcy?

I'm a school counselor and over the semester I've gotten to know my students. One in particular has a mother in Mexico, and is living home to home currently. Her current living situation is temporary. She's over 14 and wants a stable home. I'm willing and able to be a guardian. Would school policy, district policy, or situations where the child is not related to the guardian be an issue? Would a lawyer be recommended to aid this process?

I have current custody & support orders in CA. I moved to AZ 2 years ago. My ex decided that he didn't want anything to do with them anymore & told me to keep them here in AZ even though our orders have him as sole physical (only since I moved out of state-before it was joint physical) & it is still joint legal custody. They have been with me 100% of the time for the last 6 mos. Father has not made any attempt to contact them or visit them. I would like to have new orders for me to have sole physical & I need an increase in child support (he is garnished in CA). Can I file in Coconino County?

Am I allowed to ask if a prospective tenant has been arrested/convicted and what for?

Isnt there a law that states how much you can charge rent by square footage? I ask because its seems to be ridiculous to charge $650 for a 350 sq ft studio.

My daughter is incarcerated at the Mohave county jail and has been for three or so months. Her attorney filed a rule 11 in her case. What is that? And they are trying to find her incompentate to stand trail. She has a mental disorder and they have her on lock down 24 hours a day. I cant have visits with her at all. And they told me to call first and when I do they say yes she can have a visit but when I get there they (visiting receptionist) tells me sorry the pod or she is on lockdown. what can I do about this?

our home has foreclosed and we are threatened with lock out. how do we find out what court will handle the notifications?
