  • My ex wife is late on rent. The attorney fee is $450.00 , is this considered "reasonable"? My understanding is she is being charged for the filing and un-filing with the court for an eviction. Additionally, she was not able to pay her rent and late fees at one point because the website they require her to pay through didn't have the updated information... The website listed a total amount due, but wouldn't accept the payment. This caused her to be several more days late while the office figured out the issue. This increased late fees and attorney fees. Is this acceptable? Or reasonable?
  • My sons father and I went to court and a custody arrangement was ordered in court. my son's father hasn't used his visitation for 9 months. Yesterday he said he wanted to see him again. I brought my son to a public location to try to allow him to become familiar with his dad again but my son who is three was noticeably afraid During the visit my son's father said that if I did not let him immediately take his for court ordered visits he would inform the judge.   • I was involved in a Granny scam. I deposited $4930 into a CHASE account in LHC, AZ. When I discovered it was fraud I went to the bank for help. With the help of and FBI agent the account has been frozen with approx 1/2 the money. The bank indicated I must get a court order to get the funds released to me. I have called numerous lawyers and have had no success in getting help. Since this is fraud I have fictitious names and no addresses of involved individuals. What can I do and who can help me get this court order?
  • I received an eviction notice on my door at 8pm, after returning home from work, on November 25th. The court date is set for Dec.1st. This gave me no time to request off from work. The only 2 business days are Friday and Monday. They sent me a 5 day notice certified mail, but the part I am supposed to sign is already removed. This has happened before. I have received this before the same way. My question is what to do about my court date when I am already scheduled to work on the 1st. Is it legal to allow 2 business days before receiving eviction papers and court date?

  • I have a ten year maintenance agreement with XXXXX, Inc dated 4/22/2016, for a twice a year maintenance service on my air conditioner / furnace which they installed for my home. I paid $1600.00 for this service. (This comes to $80.00 per service) and I received five services. When the sixth service was due (April 2019) I called for an appointment and their phone is shut off. I called their offices in Tucson, Pheonix and Glendale, all their phones have been shut off and the Tucson office is locked. I can't find anyone and they still owe me $1200.00 and I don't know what to do.
