My tenant is 2 months behind on rent, and she just sent me a message that the washing machine in my condo is not working properly. I would normally take care of it, but is it still my obligation if she is behind on her rent payments and not fulfilling her lease obligations?

I recently moved out and the landlord never gave me my deposit back. I left the home in good condition the only thing he wrote on the disposition report that the carpet was dirty. Ever since we moved in we told him the carpet needed to be replace because it was worn out and you could see previous stains he never did anything about it. Now he wants to subtract that from the deposit which i think is unfair. What can I do?

I have three daughters 7,5 and 2 they was born in AZ. Me and the mother of my kids split up 2 years ago and I moved back home to WV last year. Since then I’ve been trying to talk/see(FaceTime) the kids and she has ignored me 95% of the time. I do pay her monthly($500-$700). Now when I don’t pay her daily for her drug use, she wants to file for abandonment on me. Can she do that?

I thought that expungement meant the clearing or erasing of one's record, but it doesn't mean that in AZ. What does it mean? What is the point of it?

My husben passed away Aug. 21st. and hade a life insurance policy. It is in his daughters name. He was going to change it did not get a chance to. We have been married for less than a year. Do I have anyrights to this life insurance?

Our Mobile Home Management has requested all residents submit copies of the title to their mobiles and home owners insurance. Is this something we must comply with, even though we are not in the process of selling our homes?

I have been employed in AZ. for 36 years to a Texas based company. They have sent notice that I enroll in direct deposit by Dec.1st,2014 in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement made by my union in july 2008. providing that, "the carrier may implement arrangements for the direct deposit of any payments due its employees covered by this agreement." They did not offer alternatives or consequences for failure to do so, only that I would be "subject to remedy." Can they force me to direct deposit or "remedy"? I currently receive my pay bi-monthly via USPS. Thank you.
