QUESTIONS

  • My husband and I rent a home with my husband's two friends and 4 of us are on the lease, but one of his friends girlfriend is living in our home and is not on the lease and she is disrespectful and causes problems how can we legally evict her?
  • I have a felony DUI in Maricopa County. Is there any possible way to have a felony taken off your record? Totally wipe it out like it never happened.
  • My mother will be going to long term care because of dementia and not be able to return home, her boyfriend lives with her, how do I get him out of the house?
  • I have been renting this house for 9 months now and within the nine months the sewage lines have backed up bringing feces up through the showers bathtub toilets sinks and in the front yard. Every time I call a send a plumber to flush the system the plumber say it is a palm tree that has been there before I moved in has busted the main sewage line. I have five children three that have asthma and I know that it is not safe for them to be in that condition. Is there anything I can do to get them to fix the main line or let me out my lease?
  • I applied for unemployment on March 29th and was approved. I have been receiving unemployment but I have not spent any as I am sure my previous employer will dispute the unemployment claim. How long does an employer have to dispute an umemployment claim? I do not feel safe touching the monies I've been given yet.
  • I lived in XXXXX apartments until June 2015. In June of 2015 I paid $406.17 to end my lease and my roomates and I signed a roommate release form saying that I was no longer on the lease. They moved out prematurely in August of 2015. Apparently a sum was sent to a collection agency for that apartment in 2016 and they included my name when they did that. I did not find out about this until I applied for an apartment for my daughter and I in May of 2017 and was denied because of this sum. I called the complex and was basically told that they cant help me. What can I do from here?
  • I bought a home in a MH park and applied for rental then landlord changed lock on door and wont let me in and denies application but wont tell me why. How do I get in my own home? I a more than willing to pay rent. I have almost 700 credit and no fellonies.
  • This property is advertised as a gated community. Little did I know, the front has NOT been locked since I moved last Jan 2018. This is caused many young homeless to walk of the street onto the property, steal, climb our fenced in pool--with their clothes on and break in to use our laundry room to sleep. (Several of the residents have complained several times!) All because the front entry foot gates are not locked.
  • I've paid a security deposit of $300 for my apt. and have a receipt. The landlord is increasing the amount to $400 and says I owe another $100! I say no! You can charge new tenants whatever you want that's legal, but you can't increase my amount after the fact. Please let me know if I must pay the additional $100. Thank you.
  • What about lemon laws in AZ for used cars? My rights.
