My husband and I separated after my daughter was born and we then got divorced. She has his last name and I would like to change it before she starts school. Our grandaughter has lived in our home since birth. Parents used to live with us, the moved out in March but did not take the baby. She is currently still living in our home, they have moved 3 different times since March. Mom is a minor she was arrested for domestic violence, but charges were dropped. I had to leave a rental property because of an order of protection. The problem is that I had already paid in full the hole lease in advance. The law states that he is supposed to refund my money in case of a domestic violence issue. I have not received any money from him or the return of my security deposit either and he is refusing to pay me. What do I do to get my money he owes me back?
