I live in TX. My daughter and her mother moved to AZ 2 years ago. I paid support and maintained telephonic contact. During this time, unknown to me, the mother became a heroine addict and gave temporary custody to the grandmother. When I was informed of the situation, I attempted to gain custody of my daughter and the grandmother, who worked for Pima Co. Superior Court, filed for permanent custody. With our court date set for Nov 4th and my plane and hotel paid, the court calls me and says they changed the date. Is that even legal with less than 24 hours notice? Do I have any recourse?

I helped my fiancé purchase a new car. I have good credit and got a great rate. She's making the payments but moved out and I don't know where she is. As long as she's making the payments I'm OK, right? If she stops payments that would not be good. What is the worse that can happen? If I have the spare key and were to get the car back is it considered stealing since the car is in my name?

We have a tenant who is operating a commercial business in a residential R5 area on our property. We do have liability insurance. It started out as a hobby, but it has gotten beyond that. Do we have any liability in this situation? What are our legal responsibilities? The property is actually in unincorporated Maricopa County.

The house we rent is in foreclosure. Are we obligated to stay in the house for the 90 days allowed or can we move as soon as we find a new place to live? Can the landlord hold us to the terms of the lease even though the house is in foreclosure now? Can he take us to court if we move out prior to the end of the lease?

How do I go about preparing and recording a beneficiary deed for my mother's home which is now solely in her name? She wishes to leave her property to my siblings and myself upon her death.

My mothers health has drastically changed and she only lives on social security, a very small disability bi-weekly stipend and has medicare. While my mother has been accepted for medicaid as a secondary insurance, she will have to contribute monthly of $406 so that she will be able to have full time home health care (vs only part time with medicare). This expense will make it impossible to help her pay her credit card debts off. My mother needs to contribute to medicaid but then won't have enough to pay off her debts. What are options as far as her credit cards? Should I close them (with her on the phone) and let them know that she is unable to pay so we'd need a settlement price? Or just walk away? I am unsure of her options as my original plan was to help her pay them off one by one.

CAN I SERVE AN EVICTION NOTICE IN A LOCAL NEWSPAPER. I CANNOT LOCATE THE TENANT THESE PAST MONTHS. TENANT HASN'T PAID RENT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS NOW.
