My ex husband filed to modify child support to lower his payment. Before he filed I told him that I wanted to file to have the children during the whole week and modify our current parenting plan. So now he filed the child support modification should I not respond and have a hearing? Or should I file my own paper work to modify the parenting plan?

I work for a large company and am going to have a baby October 18. My 1 year mark in the company will be November 17. Is there anyway I can take a "personal leave" or short term disability for a few weeks, and then in November file for FMLA ? Please advise. Thank you. (The personal leave would be for birth, the FMLA would be to bond and take care of a newborn)

My apartment lease will be expiring in a few months and the new lease that has been proposed includes a new payment for a percentage of the common area utilities. The calculation is based on the total utility bill for the common areas then breaks down by square footage and number of occupants of each apartment. The monthly charges will fluctuate from month to moth as the common area charges change. My questions are is this legal? Aren't we already paying for the common area utilities by paying rent? Would this not be consider a double dip? Please advise. Thank you, Kathleen Ingram
