While I was with my Mom at her boyfriend's house in CA, my friend and I walked in on them watching porn in the living room. They didn't hear us come in so she doesn't know that I know. I told my Dad and he is trying to decide how to handle this. I want to know (and so does my Dad) if this is reason enough for my Dad to get sole custody. Now they both have joint physical custody. Has a crime been commited and how will the courts view this event? Thank you.

I was living at my father's house with my family lease and rent free. There was a fire and everything was destroyed. He has 20000 in personal property damage coverage. The insurance company is refusing to pay for our belongings because they said he isn't residing there. If he is receiving mail there and has a utility on in his name at that address and the bill is mailed to him at the same address is that considered as him residing there?

I am not technically on a lease I haven't signed paperwork there since December 2013. I just moved out in November I just want to know if I am responsible for 30/60 days notice which I've already given but they keep changing their story everyday.

My husband was laid off work back in September and relocated to NM to start a business, which has proven successful. I will be seeking employment there as well, and gave notice to my current employer that my final day of work will be 12/4/09. I will be self-employed and working as a substitute teacher until I find a job in NM. How do I request a modification to my current support amount as I will experience a significant loss of income? How do you create a new parenting worksheet when you don't know how much your monthly income will be? What steps do I need to take to start this process?

After foreclosure involving a single family residence the new owner filed an unlawful detainer action against the tenants who had no rental agreement after serving them with a 90 day notice to quit. The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent. They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted.
