what does Contributing to the delinquency of a minor mean?

I just got the keys to my new place. Long story short the neighbor and his company made my girlfriend fear for her safety. When we were leaving I took the way out by his unit and he stopped my car at gunpoint because he "thought I was someone else". I want nothing to do with this place now! What can I do?

I signed a lease for a house and the management company is acting very irresponsible and lackadaisical. I have not put any money down on the house because I was told that I would be set up in the computer to pay. My question is can I legally get out of this lease? It is due to start July 1. I need a management company that is going to be just as responsible as I am required to be and I am getting really bad feelings about this company. Thanks for your help! :) Kristin

My mother is 85 and being treated by a naturopathic doctor. My sister and I are concerned that the care she is getting is harming her overall health. We have contacted the Naturopathic Physician Medical Board to file a complaint. They are willing to move forward and subpoena her medical records for review. The problem is that they say there is no way to keep this physician from mentioning it to our mother. We feel that our mother puts an abnormal amount of "faith" in this physician and that she has been, for lack of a better word, "brainwashed" into believing that he can do no harm. We want to proceed without fear that he will convince my mother that we are "the bad guys." What do we need to do to proceed without fear that he will discuss this with our mother? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Our family is relocting to another state. Our 16 year old daughter is not wanting to go and says "she refuses." We are an average American family and never had a problem with our daughter. She does well in school and my wife and I have always held very good jobs. What are her rights as a minor and ours as parents. She is claiming that if she runs away, she legally cannot be "forced" to go home.

My stepson, 17 has been convicted in juvenile court of theft. He damaged property and the owners are filing for 6K restitution. His mom has full custody and she works. His dad is disabled and a am unemployed...we cannot afford restitution. We also cannot afford an attorney. Can the 17 year old be ordered to work off the restitution? What are our options when we can't pay?

I notified my landlord that our AC was out the first week of May via text. He responded via text that he was exploring options. We’re going on 3 months now without air conditioning. Can I withhold rent until he fixes it?

If my ex-husband owes back support, and now our daughter is living with him, does he still owe the back support, and do I need to start paying support to him?
