  • My lease ends 4/31/11. I moved out 3/15/11. I did fulfill my contract obligation of providing the lease check for 4/1/11. My (old) landlord cashed that check 4/4/11 I found out that he moved someone in 4/1/11. Is it legal for him to cash my 4/1/11 check and move someone in, REGARDLESS if I still occupy the dwelling and/or if he made them pay for April or not? I would think that by my yearly lease contract, he is not allowed to move anyone in until 5/1/11 since he accepted and cashed my 4/1/11 check.
  • My mother passed away 5 yrs ago. Estate has never been settled in probate or anything. My sister moved her son into the home that was willed to us. He pays her the mortgage payment and she makes sure everything is paid. Home is still in deceased mothers name. We had verbal agreement that he would also pay me $200 a month and isnt paying anymore. I want to settle in court due to no executor of estate. My sister assumed executor but refuses to settle. I want her to buy me out and I will sign off on estate and she can do what she wants. What can I do???

  • hi i am trying to find some help for a number of residents in burrwood rv park.they have received a notice on 4-2-18 in there park clubhouse that they have to move out of there park by 5-10-18,and they can return 9-1-18.they will turn off the power and water.these people have paid a yearly rent,and have nowhere else to go.they have been offered to move there rv trailers to their sister park in quartzsite az split rail rv park,about 8 miles away.they do not have the means to just pack up and move.no spring chickens here,this is a 55 and older park.please advise.thank you la paz county

  • I have been sued for 1200.00 dollars for out of pocket expenses for medical bills by my neighbor how attack me and than lied in court ant the what ever she was believed her in stead of me and I did not do. Can they take my car? I am Social Security. All I have is my car that I still owe on. I go back and forth to the doctor and school for my AA. If they take my car I can not make it. I am below poverty level . not even 1,000.00 a month. Do I need to file for exemptions on my car and which one should I use. Do I have to file bankruptcy to file for exemptions? Or am I ok?   • My grandmother has late stage dementia, we recently moved her and provided a Doctors note to relieve her of her lease. I am POA. The apartment complex just sent a letter stating that there is urine on carpet ( my grandmothers) and they have to replace it and treat concrete. My Grandmother is on state assistance and has $110 left over after her assisted living expenses. They said they are giving me 30 days to pay in full or she is going to collections. From what I understand, she is considered judgement clear due to limited income. Can they come after me and send me to collections for this
