My Mother lived in and owned property in Sun City, AZ for about 30 yrs. She had two living children whom have had a rather toxic relationship. She had a living trust and her son is named Successor Trustee. In 2003 she suffered a small stroke and (while still mentally alert) she had a problem with her speaking ability. As a result, she retired as Trustee and named her son who divides his time between New Mexico and Alaska. Her son physically relocated her to New Mexico about 10 months before she passed in Feb. 2011. He had sold her property in AZ in Sept 2010 but moved all her personal belongings to his property in NM prior to that date. Her remains are interred in AZ. Which state would have jurisdiction if a probate proceeding is necessary? (i.e.- Say the Successor Trustee fails to act?)

My landlord has been retaliating on me because I filed a complaint with the city for them failing to remedy a bed bug issue. Now they are refusing to make repairs, harassing me at all hours of the day and night and threatening to evict me with unjustified causes. Additionally, my lease is up in 3 months and they are planning on showing my unit for the next THREE months which is excessive and highly invasive. What can I do to prevent all of this?

I informed my landlord that there were several things that needed to be fixed (the dishwasher and the toilet) She never responded to my requests. I waited several days. I then informed her that I would have these items fixed and that I would provide her with receipts of the work done and deduct it from my rent. Again, she did not respond. Now she is seeking late fees for the amount that I deducted from my rent. In addition, the roof has leaked for the last year and after numerous requests has not been fixed to my knowledge. Can she do this and can I break m y Lease?

My minor granddaughter's father died in a car wreck in January, she was awarded the life insurance and workman's comp because it occurred on the job. Her parents were never married but my daughter retained a lawyer immediately following the accident. When selling a car as a private party to another individual. Is the seller responsible for anything after sell is completed (in the case the buyer is trying to get money from me for a repair he claims is needed now) As the seller does my responsibility for the vehicle end once we competed title transfer?

M.H. owner & M.H. space renter of 19 yrs.. finally given :. agreement but don't follow AZ. laws. Sent a request to Landlord to bring lease up to fo;;ow M.H.P provisions but still no response back from him. They now are trying to evict for late rent payment they refused because I didn't include utility charges due to the unlawful ways of billing proof. I told them to first meet the request's of the lease and then it will be paid. I had full rent $400.00. Utilities are separate from rent. Can they still refuse my rent payment for space? What should I do if I have information about a crime?

My sis has been in my house since 2015 and I moved to CA. I just found out that my landlord served a judgement in my name and evicted her in my name without notifying me. The Property Mgr and the Owner knew I was in CA and said they would put the lease in her name but never did. Since they did not notify me, is this legal?
