What can I do if my husband is not filing his set of divorce papers, mine have been filed already and I waited the required amount of time, but he will not file his papers saying he is too busy. We have no children together and we agreed on everything. I believe I need to file a default form, but does that mean we have to have a hearing? I leased house and signed an agreement before doing a walkthrough. I told him I could begin moving the next day, but decided to wait until repairs and cleaning are done. The property manager said it would take a week to do repairs. He will not change the move in date, which will cost me $300 for a week I am not there. Can I withhold a week’s rent next month for the delay or am I bound by the lease date?
