i am 15, almost 16, and I get in constant fights with my parents, some leading to abuse, and would like to live with a friend of mine that lives in California. could there be a penalty for doing so? do i have to get emancipated to do this? what do i have to do in general to do this. my family knows this family very well and they would take great care of me. they would also have no issue in taking me in and they would treat me as their own.

I just appealed Social Security's decision to deny my survivor's benefits, which were denied, again! I'm a disabled widow, and have had my disability since I was a teenager, since my records show I have a personality disorder,Agoraphobia, etc. But,they keep denying my husband's benefits on the grounds that I didn't become disabled within 7 years after he died! The Social Security laws have recently been changed to let divorced, disabled widows have the same laws, which were worded differently before my case was heard! Is there free help to help me fight them?

Hello... I live in an apartment, last week my car was stolen and so were my license plates. The following day, the manager called and had my vehicle towed, I called the office and explained my situation and asked if there was any way they could help me as I am a single mother and live on ssd, they said there is nothing we can do, you are going to have to pay to get your car out, also adding it is in my lease that vehicles cannot be parked with no tags and I should have called them and told them my tags were stolen. Can I force them to pay the fees if I have police report?

Sent a request to Landlord to bring lease up to fo;;ow M.H.P provisions but still no response back from him. They now are trying to evict for late rent payment they refused because I didn't include utility charges due to the unlawful ways of billing proof. I told them to first meet the request's of the lease and then it will be paid. I had full rent $400.00. Utilities are separate from rent. Can they still refuse my rent payment for space?
