  • Our landlord refuses to fix our swamp cooler and the resulting problems. The swamp cooler leaks water, which has damaged the roof so that it leaks in our bedroom & closet for the last 3 years. This year it blew a fuse, so the landlord is using OUR extention cord for power. Now, whenever the cooler is turned on, the faucets and metal parts of our toilet/sink are electrified. We would like to file the 10 day repair notice but can't afford to move out. Can we file for damages while still living in the apt? Are we allowed to stay until the case is over?
  • It is time to renew my lease and a Bed Bug Addendum was added. It has harsh provisions for tenent payment of treatment expenses, even being responsible for adjacent units, even if you did not cause the infestation. The AZ law states you can be charged only if you fail to report. Is this Addendum legal. If I refuse to sign it can I legally be denyed the right to renew my lease? If I do sign it to renew the lease, will it hold up in court? Can you point me toward a lawyer in the Phoenix area who has experience with this? Thank you!

I decided to split our share, my 1/2 of the house (it was paid off by my father as a gift). I tried to get refinance-get the house-give her money 1/2 -and she was too BUT both of us fail to secure the loan we need. On 15 Oct. 09, I ask a realtor to sell our house so I can get my 1/2, her 1/2 but she repulsed to sign the sale auth and still live in it until now. What can I do to have her sign the sell, get my 1/2 and give her 1/2 so I move on?

  • I am a veteran I served my country with honor, and pride. I need information on how to acquire an audit from the V.A. debt management center. They have kept me in poverty over the last 30 years.   • I recently went through a child custody hearing. In the judges ruling, he claimed that I was convicted of Domestic Violence and that I was abusing te legal system by reporting Domestic violence by my ex. I have never been charged but my ex has been 12 times with 5 convictions and 5 other charges dismissed as part of plea agreements. Do I have any recourse against the judge?
