  • Moved in to an apartment. AC never ran correct. Notified landlord several times. Electric was constantly shorting out. Landlord did nothing. Had hollow core door for front door.. faulty locks, serious bug problem, he charged us 1100 deposit for 550 rent. We vacated in 2 1/2 months. Never signed a lease or rental agreement. Trash all around complex. He refused to refund our deposit. Can we get it back in full?

My younger brother has been doing home improvement projects for this attorney for several years now but has never retained.   • My question is about signing a lease and the rent is showing 745.00 a month which I signed on July 30th of this year. From 09/01/2015 to midnight 08/31/2016. I was told by the manager of the complex that there was a mistake was made by there computer and that the rent should have been for 796.62. This was told to me after I had sign my original lease. The manager wanted me to initial a additional paper to show that the computer should have shown that the rent was suppose to be 796.62.what I want to know is do I pay the 745.62 or the 796.62.

The person moved in on The 7th and because he hadn't meet the owner wanted a full refund stating I fluently rented it, yet still is occupying the space as of today and refuses to turn in keys or move her things. She signed a month to month lease on July 7th. Do I owe her the money back and if not how do I get her out?
  • When entering my apartment, does the landlord/mgr have to specify a date when they will enter or can they just say they will be in the week of, and come in anytime that week or month?
