  • I live in a senior mobile home park in Phoenix, AZ and own my home. The park owner is sending threatening notices that he is making a new rule that all tenants have to provide proof of homeowners insurance and minimum coverage shall include comprehensive liability, fire and windstorm insurance, and coverage for the removal of home in case of a total loss. None of us seniors can afford this. Wouldn't the AZ Landlord and Tenant Agreement Act, ARS 33-1452 - Rules and regulations, Item B pertain to this?

  • We're renting a home and have 9 months left in our 12 month lease. We just found out the property foreclosed and the home sold. We've been offered money to leave in 30 days. We are protected under the Protecting Tenants in Foreclosure Act, and can stay for the duration of our lease. We are willing to leave in 60-90 days, to give us time to find another rental. If the PTFA expires on 12/31/14 are we still protected on 1/1/15? Can they give us more time but then come back on Jan. 1st and evict us? Are we protected past the expiration of the act because we signed our lease before the foreclosure?
  • We have been tenants of a mobile home park for 5 years. 4 years ago the park was sold to new owners. We have been paying lot rent, now the owners want to charge us as renters of the mobile also. They do not own the mobile it is in the name of the previous owners. I understand paying lot rent and have no issue with that but can they charge us rent on a mobile that they don't own?

He is a good kid with no criminal history nor any record of any trouble. If I marry his dad, he will be my stepson. Does my ex have a leg to stand on? I will not risk losing custody of my daughters.
