Can I finance a car if I am currently in the middle of a chapter 7 or chapter 13 bankruptcy?

My boyfriend owes almost $100,000 to the State of California. He is paying off the welfare that his ex wife was on. His paychecks are garnished and as of a few days ago his bank account was too. I was planning on joining the Navy in the spring and we wanted to get married. My question is: Will his child support debt transfer to me?Will they be able to garnish my wages and bank account? Will any of this be put on my credit score?

I am wondering if it is considered fraud for an employer to claim we would be interviewed via phone by an impartial party then turn around and hire someone outside the company without ever interviewing the internal applicants?

I am working with a gentleman who is receiving Social Security Disability (SSD) payments. The SSD is his only income. He has almost half the of SSD check garnished for child support. Is there any way he can have this amount reduced? Who could he go to for assistance with this?

The landlord says water is included in the rent. I have a two bed room and he has decided to increase the rent because I am getting a roommate to afford the initial increase he has already made. I have a two bed room apartment and have lived alone for a year, one of the bedrooms are empty and he wants to raise the rent stating that having two people living in a two bed room means more water use. Do I have any rights here? I was paying $600.00, he raised the rent to $750.00 because he is the NEW owner and says it is necessary. Now he says he will raise it again.

If a rental agreement was signed by a person subleasing a room without the written or knowledge of the landlord is the lease still valid.

My ex-wife has sole custody of our 14 year old daughter, and i'm pursuing sole custody. She remarried a felon with bad criminal past, and has 2 new babies with him. The 5 of them live in a 2 bed apt. Our daughter is sick all the time with numerous health problems, has excessive absences from school, and failing grades.I'm deeply concerned for her mental, emotional, physical, and moral health. My ex isn't giving her proper visitation with me. I live out of state and feel powerless until a court ruling can be made. I want action immediately. Does this merit an emergency post decree modification?

I was e mail about loan for $8000.00 and all I had to do was send three months payments in advance which I did the day when there wrer to mak a deposit to my account I got call from the tell me that I had to purchase a inserunce for the loan and all I had to do was ppay $750.00 1/2 of the cost so I had it canceled the loan and ask for my money back they told me it would take 14 to30 days befor I could get it io told I needed it back that day they said they would,this has put me in avery bad money problem because of being on ssi diabilty my bill are going to suffer and Imy credit is going to take a big hit I have to pay for a truck payment and rent and insurance I have no othere way to gover them I neeed to get them to return that money by the end of this week, I need help. I was olso scam by company out of Washington involving free gov. grant money that also menschen that they were working with the f.b.i.i lost $150.00in that.

My employer has us keep receipts (tickets with the food orders written on them) she is threatening to take $100 for every ticket that gets lost. More than 3 different employees handle these tickets along side the cashier daily. Is this legal for her to take $100 from the cashier if a ticket gets lost?

Can the lender force foreclosure on my home when my ex-spouse got a 2nd mortgage in his name showing him as the borrower while we were married on this home And now I own this property from the divorce?
