I gave my 30 day notice on April 1st stating that I would not be renewing my lease at the end of May. I also informed the office that I'm moving out on May 8th but I'm paying rent for the whole month of May. I requested a move out inspection Friday May 8th after I take all my belongings out. I was told by the Secretary that the manager does move out inspections when he feels like it. I am unable to return for a move out inspection because I am starting a job in another town. My question is from what date do I begin counting the 14 days for my security deposit to be returned?

I was involved in an accident last year where the at-fault driver was uninsured. After receiving care my health insurance was billed and no liens were put on my auto insurance. I have since settled with auto insurance, but this week I received a collection notice from an attorney saying I owe the provider an amount above the agreed upon rate from my health insurance. When talking to the provider they said AZ law allows them to collect the remaining balance from me with personal injury. Can they hold me liable for the balance above the rate my health insurance has after they have billed them?

If our garage broke, we could close it, and our property manager stated "their repair guy" could not come for 2 days and we had to secure the premises; we had to pay $350 for a repair man to JUST shut the door. 2 days later "their repairman" came and replaced the door. Now my landlord, per the property manager, is saying he will only give us $65 back since we didnt use "their repairman"! I have all of the emails as that is the ONLY way to speak with our property manager.
