QUESTIONS

  • I have sole legal decision making of my daughter and I was planning on filing for an out of state move. My ex gets out daughter on the weekends and after missing last weekend, she informs my that see will be in Chicago for a month maybe longer for a family tragedy. Now whether or not if that is true does that change the way that I file or will I have to wait for her to come back whenever that maybe.
  • Was told by my interviewer that I must present all of my family's birth certificates so that DES may "stamp" them. She said this was a law as of April 2006, however, the first time I applied, they did not say this, nor did they "stamp" our birth certificates. I'd like to know where I can find this law, and will I be turned down for food stamps and AHCCCS if I don't let DES stamp our birth certificates?

  • My husband wants a divorce, however he says he will take our 3 yr old daughter from be because he feels I do not treat her right (he calls it abuse). He is 62, physically disabled and receives SSI for his mental disability which includes rage issues, depression and suicidal ideology. Does he have a leg to stand on and will the court actually grant him custody instead of me. I am terrified of what might happen if he passes away while with her.
