My mother is 85 and being treated by a naturopathic doctor. My sister and I are concerned that the care she is getting is harming her overall health. We have contacted the Naturopathic Physician Medical Board to file a complaint. They are willing to move forward and subpoena her medical records for review. The problem is that they say there is no way to keep this physician from mentioning it to our mother. We feel that our mother puts an abnormal amount of "faith" in this physician and that she has been, for lack of a better word, "brainwashed" into believing that he can do no harm. We want to proceed without fear that he will convince my mother that we are "the bad guys." What do we need to do to proceed without fear that he will discuss this with our mother? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend and I and out 8 year old son are currently renting a house from my boyfriends grandmother. We moved in to the house in may. There was never a written rental agreement but we are paying her cash every month for rent. We have all the utilities in our name, and our mail comes here. Long story short she came to our house, stole our dog and we had her arrested. She is now threatening to evict us (we are looking to move anyways now) but wants us out asap. We have been here been in the house 8 months. Would she have to go through the courts for eviction?

My 10 year old's mother moved to NY. She did so without notice and has no intent of wanting him to move there. We currently have joint legal custody. How do I ensure that when he visits she will return him as agreed upon and that it doesn't look like I willingly sent him there for more than a visit? Also, can she sign to give me sole decision making and physical custody since she is not here to make major decisions regarding school, health, etc.?

Due to the Covid19, my business has taken a hit. That meant no money was coming in to pay Payroll. From Feb-May, I've been living off credit cards. I have made a partial rent payment for April and May 2020. I came home yesterday to an eviction notice. The property owner knows of my business & financial situation. I was told that as long as I was making a partial payment towards rent, that by law I couldn't be evicted (with intent to pay in full ASAP) My company was just awarded the PPP LOAN, which I advised my property owner the very next day that all past portion of rents would be paid asap

what can I do if the owner sold the property and the new management is telling me I have to get my deposit back from him and he lives out of state???? The owner also owes me for unpaid wages during my employment there. He took me to court 4 times for payment of non rent but instructed the managers NOT to accept my rent payments. The courts ruled in my favor and I owed him zero. I was still evicted and had 5 days to move. I did a walk-thru with a manager and I left it move-in ready yet I'm fighting now for my deposit... any suggestions?????? Please.

I helped my fiancé purchase a new car. I have good credit and got a great rate. She's making the payments but moved out and I don't know where she is. As long as she's making the payments I'm OK, right? If she stops payments that would not be good. What is the worse that can happen? If I have the spare key and were to get the car back is it considered stealing since the car is in my name?
