  • I live in a mobile home park in a travel trailer that has not had hot water for over a year. In Oct. 2015 I sent the manager/landlord a letter regarding his diminution of services and to reimburse me for when he was not compliant. The remedy was for $1100.00 or 2 months rent. Now I find out that Travel Trailers are illegal to rent. I have had many problems with this place, including electric bills that vary from $50 to $100 diff each month. I need to know my rights so I can stop these people from taking advantage of me. My rent is $539.00 a month with no regular plumbing, water is on hose.

  • I just appealed Social Security's decision to deny my survivor's benefits,which were denied, again! The Social Security laws have recently been changed to let divorced,disabled widows have the same laws,which were worded differently before my case was heard!   • I signed someone's name on a legal document with permission from this person. I was carged with forgery. I took a plea not wanting to go to a jury trial. After the plea I found out that the state attorney lied to the grand jury and said this person did not give me permission and also I forged her notes. I have her taped interview where she clearing states her given permission and that the notes were done by her. Is there anything I can do to go back to the grand jury or maybe have the charges reversed? I was told no matter what I signed her name with putting with permisssion
  • Hello, my Mom remarried and passed away within 4 years. She had written a holographic will, that was notorized, and verified as her handwriting. She had notated that when/if the house was sold, it would be split amongst her children. She had also mentioned a life insurance policy in her will. This will was shown to all children and spouse. Before passing, Mom learned her life insurance was canceled. Questions: Even though life insurance is no longer available, but mentioned in will, is the will still valid? Also, does the Widow recieve portion of funds from house sale when not designated?

  • The landlord was contacted regarding a mouse problem a few weeks ago. Prior to this, there had been no problems with the landlord. The landlord let an exterminator in to the apartment when no one was home with permission. After this, the landlord stated that the apartment was a health hazard because of clutter & cat small & it had to be fixed. Landlord contacted Housing assistance & complained. They said it had to be corrected. The apartment was cleaned, the majority of belongings were thrown away, & everything was tidy, still not good. 8 tenants when moved in, now 2. What recourse?
  • I am out of State and was told I need to petition the judge to accept the parenting class. I do not know what form to use to petition the judge to accept the class.
