My boyfriend of 2 years and I had our daughter in December 2015. He is the biological father and signed the birth certificate in the hospital and acknowledgment of paternity. My baby also has his last name and not mine on the birth certificate. Unfortunately we no longer want to be together. My question is can I get full custody of my daughter even though she has his last name on the birth certificate? Do I have any rights as her mother if he tries to fight for her too?

My severely disabled (non verbal, non ambulatory) 20 year old son’s health status has declined to the point that his mom and I have agreed not to take any extraordinary intervention. He is being followed at home by Hospice of the Valley. We are being challenged by the treating hospitals to produce a medical POA to recovery his medical records. Given his current medical status the possibility of him surviving more than a couple of weeks are doubtful. Is there an easy and inexpensive way to get guardianship of him and should we?

I moved into a condo where the walls are extremely thin. I am a middle unit and have no problems with the unit to my left, but the noise to my right. HOA board members, neighbors, and police officers have been in my unit to witness the noise. The noisy neighbor is a renter. We had a mandatory meeting with myself (owner), the renters, the HOA board, and the other owner, to no avail. The HOA wants me to get incident numbers for every time I make a noise complaint (at least 2x/wk). They say they fine the owner per complaint, but this has been continuous since Nov. It's Aug. What can I d0?

When I asked the landlord "why?", she stated that a reason is not necessary pursuant to law. Is this true? Can you provide me with the statute, please? I was not able to find it.

I am a full time college student in Arkansas. My girlfriend and 4 year old son moved back to Phoenix to live with her dad and his family. I receive VA benefits to attend college and with rent and other items. I have also started working part time, at night, as the money I receive doesn't cover everything. I live very modestly as I don't have much time to do things. I received court papers suing for child support. She and I had already discussed our financial situation. She works full time with the Laveen school system. I try to assist with money but it's very hard. What can I do?
