  • Who can evict me. My landlord does not own property. His sister does. I refused to pay this months rent. I have a part of my ceiling exposed because the ceiling fell due to water damage. Insulation exposed, black mold is there. MLandlord sent 5 day eviction notice in mail. text me that he will be giving me a letter tomorrow saying he is inspecting home on Sunday. What do I do? I was hospitalized late June. Could not find what caused illness. Thought it was a stroke. I was in a SNF. Got better. Once I came home, I am again suffering from headaches again, tired so are my children Mold in AZ too
  • My landlord did not require a deposit and is now sending a bill for cleaning of the apartment. I am under the impression that cleaning is something the landlord must do and therefore a cost of doing business.

I never received any type of notifications that my chapter 13 had been dismissed,or any notifications that I was in foreclosure, as a matter of fact I had sent the mortgage co $4,000 the previous month. I believe the sale of my house was illegal since I was never notified..Is this true, if I am never given the opportunity to save my house which are required by law and can I do anything about it now that it's been sold?

  • I own a mobile home but rent the land it sits on (in a park). Monthly, the landlord sends a bill that includes a base rent, charges for electricity, water use, and sewer. It also includes a "rent tax." I'm unsure what this rent tax is and whethere he should be paying it or I should. There is also a "service charge" of $10 on the monthly electric portion, which I think is a reading fee (a man who lives here reads the meters). Are these last two charges legitimate?
  • Can my landlord continue to fine me HOA fees for a dead tree in my yard? I looked at my leases and it says I’m responsible for yard maintenance but paying to have a whole tree cutdown doesn’t seem like maintenance to me. It alters the property and I rent this house not own it. I’ve went back and forth with them on this and they stop responding to me and attached fines to my rent.
  • I was served a special writ for foreclosure due to being behind on HOA dues. How long do I have to try to pay the amount owed? It states my redemption period is 6 months. Is this from data of sale? Or from date I was served? Also, how long do i have before it goes to auction?
